E.J. Simmons coordinates and leads the Praise Team which provides worship music and leadership during the Fresh Start Service on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m.

Mr. Simmons is a very talented musician who has a music degree from Southern Mississippi University, a tremendous voice, and proficiency on multiple instruments including piano, keyboard, drums, and trumpet.

Praise Team rehearsals are Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.  Anyone with a heart for leading praise through music is welcome to join.

E.J. also lives out his deep desire to serve the Lord in Christian ministry as First UMC’s Director of Outreach Ministries and Young Adult Ministries.
